Why do you think your character would work in this setting?
June will understandably freak out when she first arrives, but try to keep it under wraps and stay as calm as possible. She'll work because it's a new place she can explore as an archaeologist. Eventually, she'll settle in enough to know that the town won't be completely destroyed by the Enchantress who will just make a point to explore everywhere and only hurt people that don't treat her with the respect she deserves.

June will be a bit more reclusive at first, being afraid of what might happen to people if the Enchantress manages to get out in the public view.
Enchantress has zero sense of personal space. If she sees you and she wants to get to know you you will have her in your face, touching you, poking through your mind, whatever she wants to do to get to know you. So... Have fun with that.
